At the Church Vision Day we looked at how the church building was used as a place for:
Despite the focus of the Vision Day being about the use of the building, a good deal of the discussion centered around the style of worship in the church, and there was a little discussion centered around the mission of the church. All these ideas and opinions will be discussed and considered, however, for this document, we will be looking at the primary focus of the Vision Day, and that is the church building. From September, we are consolidating our Sunday gatherings! Each Sunday there will be two services. 10am – Family WorshipThis is a church gathering for all ages. There will be more contemporary music and an interactive talk. Twice a month the worship will be all-age and twice a month there will be groups for children. There will also be a creche (parent supervised). 6pm – Evening WorshipThis is a quieter, more contemplative gathering. It will feature more traditional organ and choir-led music, and be an opportunity for in-depth teaching. Twice a month there will be a communion.
