Safeguarding

1 Safeguarding is part of our core faith and an integral feature of Christian life in our parish churches.

2 Welfare of children, young people & vulnerable adults is at all times paramount and takes precedence over all other considerations

3 Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser MUST be consulted whenever a safeguarding concern of any kind arises in your parish

Further information regarding Safeguarding can be found on this website and in the church office.

Festival Choir

Uplyme Church Festival Choir meets on an occasional basis during the year to rehearse and provide choral music for some of the church’s traditional services of celebration, including Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and Christmas. We aim to sing in four parts and in a range of idioms from traditional psalms to contemporary anthems, as well as supporting the congregational hymns.  Participants range from beginners and non-sight readers to experienced choristers and we try to cater for all levels of musical experience with plenty of opportunity to learn notes.

The choir does not have a membership requirement other than enthusiasm – you are welcome to join for any service (and associated rehearsals) to which you feel able to commit.

For further information about the choir or to ask to be included when we next invite participation please ring Adrian on 01297 442902.
