The Lord’s prayer

Luke 11v2-4 – “Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.”
Luke 11v13 “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him”.
1 John1v9 – The power/provision of Christ’s shed blood to forgive our sins as we repent and the power of his wounds to heal our deepest searing wounds when we forgive others who have injured us over the years.
Small group prayers:- Seeking help to reject temptation; and to continually question our attitude to sin.
Psalm 51v1&2 – Have mercy on me, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
