Internationally Acclaimed Cellist, Lionel Handy returns to Uplyme

Lionel Handy, the internationally acclaimed cellist is returning to Uplyme Church with his accompanist David Clayton for a concert on Tuesday 12th June at 7.30.

John Bacon – 21st January @ 7.30pm

London based Canadian tenor will be giving a recital of English song in the church building on Saturday 21st January at 7.30pm. Included in the programme will be Benjamin Brittan’s Winter Words, a group of eight poems by Thomas Hardy set to music in 1953. No charge will be made for this concert but a retiring collection will, as usual, will be given to the performers after expenses have been deducted. Put the date in your diary now!

School Fundraising Concert

There will be a Fund Raising Charity Concert with guest American Soprano, Lynn Morgan, featuring the ‘Goldfinch Ensemble’ who play Baroque and Classical Music in Uplyme Church building on Saturday 23rd October at 7.30 pm.  All donations will go to the school.
