At the Church Vision Day we looked at how the church building was used as a place for:
Despite the focus of the Vision Day being about the use of the building, a good deal of the discussion centered around the style of worship in the church, and there was a little discussion centered around the mission of the church. All these ideas and opinions will be discussed and considered, however, for this document, we will be looking at the primary focus of the Vision Day, and that is the church building.
Nearly 60 people turned up for the Uplyme Church Vision Day today. Actually, it was a bit less of a Vision Day and more of a Vision afternoon! Gavin beatboxing at St. Mary’s Chard – Friday 9th July I am performing at an all-age event at St. Mary’s Chard this evening – there will be face-painting, games, BBQ, etc. Come along! It is hard to believe that I have only been in post since January – just four months. At the APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) I set out a vision and plan for the future of our church. |
